The loss of a neighbor

Eric and I just got home from attending the funeral of one of our neighbors. If you live in Utah you probably heard about his death on the news. His name was Kirk Babbitt and died flying a small plane over Antelope Island where he crashed. He left from the Tooele Airport planning to land in Bountiful, where he usually left his car so he could drive to work in Salt Lake. He did this many days, as he was hoping to become a professional pilot someday and was just trying to get hours flying. It was his dream. Kirk was a good guy. He had been elders quorum president in our ward. And he was a great daddy. Sadly, he leaves behind 3 beautiful children. There are 3 year old twin girls and a one year old little boy. And this little guys is just the spitting image of his daddy. His wife is such a wonderful woman. We pray that she will be able to get through this difficult time. Part of my reason for this post is for her and her children. Needs are going to be great for this family emotionally and financially. It's my hope that this post may reach someone out there that is able to help.
